But when I became a mom, I traded fieldwork for firewalls and shifted into cybersecurity. The desk job was safer — but quickly left me feeling stuck, and disconnected from the parts of me I loved most.

Before founding Beane Hive, I was navigating trade laws — often from places most people would never choose to vacation.

My first career was in international trade compliance for a government contractor. It took me all over the world — including active war zones. I thrived on the thrill, the purpose, the structure.

Speeches, decks, internal comms, strategic messaging — I gravitated toward the storytelling moments inside even the most buttoned-up briefs. Over time, I realized that was no accident.

So I made a second pivot — this time toward something entirely my own: Beane Hive. A creative studio for law firms that want brand presence without the overwhelm (or the fluff).
